Kobikam Africa is a gender advisory and advocacy organisation focused on making systems work better for women. Our work sits at the intersection of gender, entrepreneurship, public policy, and inclusion, with our core at the economic advancement of women on a systemic level. We work across the public sector, private sector, and directly with individuals and communities by supporting policies, programmes, and organisations to become more inclusive and responsive to women’s needs.

About Founder

Ijeoma Adesanya is the CEO/Founder of Kobikam Africa. Prior to this, she worked as a Finance leader with the General Electric (GE) Gas Power team covering over 11 countries across Sub-Saharan Africa. Her work experience cuts across various sectors, including Power Infrastructure, Oil & Gas and Healthcare.

 She has a BA(Hons) in Accounting and Management from the University of Reading and an MSc in Business Analytics and Consulting from Warwick Business School. Her interests in advancing development in Nigeria through education & equity led her to complete a CPD in Public Policy Analysis at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Ijeoma is passionate about seeing women thrive and has been involved in various Non-Governmental Organisations and led seminars focused on women and girl child empowerment.
