Kobikam Africa was founded by Ijeoma Adesanya out of a heart for women and a desire to see them thrive. After 10 years in the private sector, whilst managing a business and birthing and raising two children, it became apparent that the career, economic and social landscape for women is significantly different to men. The existing deficiencies in both private and public policies concerning women, raised an urgent need to have more women at the helm of affairs.
Before launching Kobikam Africa, she worked as a Finance leader with the General Electric (GE) Gas Power team covering over 11 countries across SSA where she focused on Financial Planning and Analysis, Strategy and Commercial Finance.
